Casterton Golf Course has just become an official Venue for powerplay golf.

Are you not sure what powerplay golf is?

Below is a brief description of the format. Or log on to www.powerplay-golf.com for further details.

A stipulated round in powerplay is 9 holes. Two holes are cut on each putting green, one with a White Flag and one with a Black Flag. The White Flag hole location is considered easy to play, and the Black Flag hole location is considered more difficult to play. Going for a PowerPlay means playing to the Black Flag. You have to go for the black flag 3 times in the first 8 holes then play it safe or go for the black flag on the ninth hole bonus points The format is matchplay or strokeplay stableford. Played off full handicap.

Casterton golf course will be holding the 9 hole powerplay competitions.

We hope you are interested in playing this new golf format.
