Once over the bank you come to a wide fairway which curves round to the right with the golf green tucked to the right near the out - [Hole 2](https://www.castertongolf.co.uk/main-course-hole/hole-2/) - This 320 yard par 4 is a straight hole where driving has to be accurate to negotiate a tight fairway through a valley. The green slopes from the back to the front .This makes a downhill putt very fast and tricky. - [Hole 3](https://www.castertongolf.co.uk/main-course-hole/hole-3-2/) - The 3rd hole is a par 3 measuring 142 yards.You play your tee shot from an elevated tee to a small green which is tucked up next to a bank with long grass and rocky outcrops. - [Hole 5](https://www.castertongolf.co.uk/main-course-hole/hole-5/) - This uphill par 3 of 136 yards is a straight hole. You need to hit a straight shot because there is a high hedge to the right which you don't want to go over.
